If you’re interested in media, this is the place to be. The HSMC is here to provide young adults free tools and resources to spark your imagination, or kick start your careers. Whether its just a hobby or you want to do this for a living, we’re here to give you the tools to make it all happen.
We are new and powerful, just like you!
HSMC is a non-profit of Catalyst, affiliated with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
IN-PERSON & REMOTE LEARNING
We have the world’s top trainers and educators available to visit your classroom, either in person or via remote. All have donated their services for this important cause.
EQUIPMENT LOANERS
Blackmagic Design loans equipment to facilitate in-classroom and field-trip shoots. Other industry vendors will be onboarding soon!
CAREER GUIDANCE
Top industry gurus, including the co-founder of the Sundance Film Festival, and trainers in all aspects of film and video, all volunteer their time and services with the goal to help create JOBS.
